sorry to sound like a kill joy but can we at least have an option to not display avatars, lovely as some of those ladies are it is risky looking at
some of them in work. yes i know i should be working but hey ho

I use the Firefox browser with the adBlock extension - if you think an image is a bit iffy (or just annoying) then you can block it.
Then you only see it the once...

I try to keep them work safe anyway.
But yes, if you use firefox you can adblock selectively any images on a site you dont want to see. You can select not to show images in IE as well,
but that kills all of them on all sites.

I also find some of them a bit too big... but take comfort in the fact that on some forums people have massive pictures in their sigs too, making the
signals to noise ratio close to zero...
