Picture (again)
I can't seem to get pictures either on a post or as an avatar,
I just get a white square with an X in

Open up the picture first (either in your archive or elsewhere online), then right click whilst hovering over it. Click properties, then highlight and
copy the location, again, using right mouse button.
Go into 'edit profile' in your control panel and where it says 'Avatar URL' use right mouse button and paste the image
properties.

Yep, sure does.
I was hovering over the picture title in the left pane and using that.
