Red envelopes/catch up etc

Just to let you know, the red envelopes don't work for me (see also MK9R below)

They don't reset after viewing a post, even after refresh, CTRL F5 or using Catch Up or after logging out and in. My cookies are ok as I remain logged in between visits. (Can it be some other security, firewall or AV setting?)

The reds do go eventually, envelopes seem to be grey from about 15 Apr backwards.

It's not a snag - just for your info.

I seem to have the same problem.

"I don't know what I may seem to the world. But as to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore and diverting myself now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than the ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me." - Isaac Newton

I have a partial solution that you might like to try - select the "new locost builders" colour scheme in your control panel/profile thingy.

If you are as lucky as myself, you will find that "catch up" will work.

It helps, after a fashion...

Brilliant, catch-up works now.

But, out of interest, when do the envelopes go from red to grey if I don't use catch-up.

The envelopes should time out after 10 minutes or so of inactivity on the site. You will, however, have to hit F5 when you come back for the latest colours to show.

I wasn't aware the envelopes didn't work on the old colour scheme - will look into it now.
