Not really a problem - suggestion!

Can we have a search engine for the photo archive? searching the title of the photo?
As a new builder I'm always looking to see how people have done a specific thing, but have to open tons of different peoples archives to do it.
Practical? doable?

probably is a good idea, assuming people name their photo's accurately or more to the point descriptively ! not just image1, image 2 etc etc.

As far as I know search facilities on webpages like this can take up a large amount of bandwidth - effectively slowing down the rest of the site, worth taking into account .I'm not 100% sure on this so if someone knows better please say so

not bandwidth, possibly process intense, depending what database is running underneath, sql most likely.

Servers shouold be able to handle this sort of thing, no probs.

I stand corrected. I always thought that they slowed servers down because on some other websites you're limited to one search every say, 60 seconds. oh well
