Site background
It keeps disappearing from my screen, is it something on my computer or is it the site?

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I have been on the site all morning (Hmm, really should do some work!) and the background seems to be working fine for me.
Are you using an ad-blocker program or are at work and have acceptable use filters?
The network here at work seems to randomly block images and pages.

I've just installed a new firewall and the images are randomly appearing/disappearing.... so if you're getting it to my efforts to sort
out my firewall is futile until it's fixed.

don't know if it's of any help/relevance and you probably already know but iirc there's an option to change or turn off the
background under your account/edit profile details.

ok there was an option but the drop down now only has one option which I think is the same as the default.

It was there earlier but it's gone again now and I haven't touched a thing or altered any settings so I'll assume it's the
site. It's not that much bother anyway. As for the WOW it reminds me of an oldie. My girlfriend has a W tattooed on both cheeks of her @rse and
when she bends down it spells WOW .
Don't take it serious, it's the internet not reality . I can remember when it didn't exist and you had to go out to get into an
argument. I'll duplicate the thread in a bit in case anyone doesn't read it.

Pete it sometimes happens to me...... no, not the bending over to spell WOW...... background disappearing now and then......
I have Firefox 2.0.0.1 (?) which also has adblock plus with it, I 'allowed' the site to accept the pop-ups its been ok since.....
Maybe a coincidence? worth a try? (if you are running Firefox of course)

but it wasn't blocking it all the time, it's fixed now thanks MOM . That's Ned's fault

Yep same here, it was when you said 'intermittent' that bells rang....
Even though I have 'adblock plus' on 'green' for this site, it does still tend to do it now and then, but not as often.....
