updates of pictures

Would it be possible to add something to the pictures-section, so it's possible to see when pictures have been added? I always have to search through all pictures to check for new ones, which is getting pretty tiresome.

Details of the pics are held in a MySQL database. I would need to update that and all the upload/description inserting scripts to add a time stamp then do some kind of cookie checking and a lookup of last visit times to work out what pics are new. If people want it to work on individual archives it'll make life even harder

And there was me thinking you liked a challenge, sounds like a walk in the park for a man of your calibre.

(anyone got a clue what he is on about?)
