compo prob

right you compo literate lot,my compo moves very slowly now,jerky movements either with the mouse or up n down button also a bit of a delay after moving said mouse,clicking things etc like summat else is running at the same time,ive de fraged and checked for nasty diseases but still no better,any ideas

What operating system are you running? (Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP...)

deleted a couple of progs and its a bit better,favourites bar on left of screen is fine,its just the other one(right of screen)thats slow n jumpy,enima in order i think

I think the only thing that will permanently cure that problem is an operating system amputation, and replacement with one from a health Windows 2000 or XP Pro donor.

Try msconfig.

Type it in the run window from start button, look under the startup tab and see how many programs are running. Any you can do without. Uncheck them and restart. Don't disable your virus checker though. Worth a try.
