My Anglesey 'off' sequence.

This is a pictorial exhibition of how not to drive on trackdays, unless of course you fancy killing a few cones
Wouldn't mind, but i'd been taking that corner all day at speed with the arse hung out, this was a slow lap as i intended to pit.
Moral being, never daydream while on a racetrack.
Anyhow, have a laugh at my expense, captions welcome.

I trust the only thing damaged (apart from your pride) was the front arch?

You do seem to be watching it go backwards in the first few shots

The shiny visor is doing a good job of hiding my red face
Car looked worse than it was, although cones are heavier than you think. Cycle wing and bracket along with the mirror went west. Exhaust can was ripped off and mangled, couple of small cracks in the manifold, and the rear arch badly cracked.

i hit one of the cones in the scooby on the 7th luckily it only left a film on paint which has come out .them cones were too big and some had tyres on .went down with a friend on saturday who was on track and cones were much smaller and only 3 red flags all day

Caption for picture 2:

"Arse! I missed a couple!!"

I've only done a couple of track days, and I couldn't believe how tiny little mistakes at the start of a corner are magnified as you progress through them. I found it really hard to get the positioning "just right" time after time. You might think it's embarrassing, but at least it was "just" cones, and not a tyre wall ...

Cheers
Richard
