Motorbike Project

As Mr Benzine kind of raised the topic of Motorbikes, I thought I might show off my latest interim project

here

It should be MOT'd by the weekend

Cheers

Mark

Quite a bargain that! I used to have the 1200 version (4 pot) and it was a very versatile with a bullet proof engine.

Had it running and it seems ok now it's fully warmed up - it needed fork seals and the brakes freeing off as the particularly the rear was sticking quite badly.

Only problem left is the alternator seems to have a rattle of sorts - apparently this is a known problem, but I haven't been able to get the alternator off yet to have a look - the bolts are very solid and I don't want to break my torx bit on it.

Anyone heard of the alternator problem before?

Cheers

Mark
