Retracting ebay bid
I want to retract an ebay bid and i read the ebay help about retracting bids and it said that because the item ends in less than 12 hours, i need to
email the seller to retract the bid.
I emailed the seller and i have had a reply that says 'feel free'.
I cant find any way of doing it.
All i want to know is that if i cannot retract it myself and i 'win', will i be ok to just forget about it?
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

I'm pretty sure the seller needs to remove your bid. Might want to email him again.

if the item has less than 12 hours to run you can't retract the bid.

If I was the seller as long as I was satisfied the reasons were genuine I wouldn't make an issue over it. He can always offer the next highest
bidder a second chance or open a dispute to the effect you both decided to withdraw. That way he gets his sellers fees back and can relist the item.
