Well err Umm... Not to start with. I have a 2.1 Tuned Pinto that I was going to use. Then longer term was to build up one of the spare V8's and drop that in. Its all a question of money and then time.

But be assured I am not going away, and intend to still have a car of some sorts ie a 7 ish type.
If I had the money, which most of us dont, then I would do an Ultima GTR, but tis too rich for me, even a Cobra is out of my reach.

An 'umble 7 will be just fine.

Good luck with the sale Geoff.

I know what you mean about missing building now the cars on the road ( well most of the time ). Are you planning on building your own chassis or using some else’s?

I’ve started planning my next build - 7 year plan to build a single seater, rear engine road/track car based on my Ford Puma.

To keep the cost down I am planning to

1. Learn to weld (2008)
2. Strip the puma (2009 summer)
3. Design the chassis( 2009 winter)
4. build the chassis ( 2010 – 2012)
5. build car (2013 -)
6. Finish ( 2015 )

Second car finished by my 50th birthday

Paul

Hopefully if all goes well it will be a McSorley 442, with the 2.1 Pinto in it to start with.
