cant seem to get the avatar working
My avatar thingy doesnt seem to work Could it be that its too big?? or am i doing something wrong, If its too big, can anyone tell me how to shrink
it please

Assuming you have read the how to in the website problems bit, ChrisW may have put a size limit on them, there have been some massive ones of late. To
shrink it, open it up in Corel or paintshop pro and resample it, set the width pixels at about 150 - 200 - should be fine
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

i had this problem, someone recommended a program to me. i ended up with one called xatio, though i cant remember if this is the one i was
recommended. its called an image optimizer, i think.
have a look thru downloads.com for a free one.

Andrew, your problem is not the size...it's quite small.....but it is still on your conputer on your C drive....it needs to be out on the web
somwhere for it to be able to show....most people simply upload it to the photo archive on here and then link it..

Alan is correct, you need to upload it onto the locost archive and then right click on the picture to get it's URL, this you then put in the
avator URL box thing

Thanks think this might fix it, its too big for my photo archive so ill attatch it here and see if this works. If not ill have to have another play
with it. Thanks
