Going Sunday

I promised myself that I would drive my car to the show this year, but I will miss it by a couple of weeks (SVA being passed!)

I will be there in the Punto (), getting a little more edging strip for those last little bits

and i will be in manchester getting hammered

Probably be going in the seven, don't know which day yet, probably depends on the weather. Unfortunately it's unlikely I have a spare seat.

Will hopefully be there on the Saturday in the Locost, weather permitting, along with 2 or 3 others in convoy

I am sure that lighting and me, and others in the area can provide a weather watch service and even check with the Met office thats only down the road fron the venue (they could check the seaweed on the day)

will be there on saturday, unfortunately with the tintop. need to buy a proper exhaust and get rid of the massive volvo silencer I'm carrying round. so the jeep is making an appearance

i am going sunday from watford Herts. if anyone wants a lift / to share the driving- let me know ! fuel for free too !

Its bright sunshine here now and not a bit of snow to be seen ,for tomorrow sunny with a slight chance of a shower and sundays simlar but very cold all weekend

you mentioned in another thread meeting at loloocost's at 12 on saturday. the rest of us have arranged ot meet at the bar at 12! perhaps we should all get together at 12.05..?

I will be at the lolocost stand at 12:00 and in the bar at 12:05, on the premice that most locosters will stay in the bar longer that 5 mins!!!!

it was nice meeting everyone from the forum and have lots of interest in a southwest car club
First time for me at a show with the car a great day and free to get in

All the bits I bought on Saturday are now securely fitted, unlike Ian, I only had to go for one day!!

I dont want to see another car for weeks.

Was good meeting everyone. Although somehow I got through 90quid even though I only bought £12 worth of nuts and bolts!

It only got a bit bad when it came to getting home again. First I went straight past my turning off the M5- so had to do 26miles extra to get back to where I started.
And then I broke down.... twice!

So that meant Sunday was spent pulling Golf engines apart instead of Locosts!
