I'm tired of my heavy and uggly sierra uprights.
Any body know about replacement parts in aluminium?

raceleda do an upright replacement for the cortina hubs and i think they do sierra replacement too. its google search time.

P.S THEY AIN'T CHEAP!

I thought they no longer did the Sierra one as I couldn't find any before I bought the original ones from RallyDesign

I'm ready to be corrected (as always) but I would be very surprised if anyone made a replacement Sierra upright in aluminium. It's not really a suitable shape, having quite a curve to the bit where the strut clamp is. I think quite a lot of material would ne necessary in that area to replace the strength lost by not using steel

Westfield uprights are nice - but they are not a direct swap for Sierra!

As above - doubt you will find any aluminium ones available (unless someone sells their Raceleda ones which i think unlikely). I would say your only option may well be to change the complete front suspension setup to Cortina uprights, brakes, wishbones etc.

Someone would have to confirm the suspension mounting points are exactly the same though (and i know where there may be a set of standard Cortina brake calipers available too as of today!!)

The receleade are as you say an alternative but I do think the rally design is a more economic alternativ. The difference is 35mm on the lower wishbon and some mm om the hight as well.
Our problem here in sweden is the law about kit cars and the maximun scrub radius of 60mm.

Cortina uprights don't allow you to have deep dish rims. I want to keep my CXR 8" 15mm offset in the front dressed up with Kumho 215.

In any case what about the Miata I have seen some nice looking uprights but do they come in alu?.

MNR took Raceleda over in 2006,( http://boardroom.wscc.co.uk/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=1;t=44861;st=15 ) although they and Rally design used to do Sierra geometry alloy uprights, they no longer sell them! not enough demand?
