what r the differace`s between the dax rush, caterahm, westfield,mk, sylver stricker, ect could some on explain y there differant, i am new to all this so bare with me.thanx
Thats a very difficult question to give a concise answer to. As a relative new comer to these ranks, I`d suggest you do what I did & take a look at the builders web sites for these various makes. Very simply of course they`re all cars inspired by the original Lotus 7 but the differences are many & complex & probably beyond the scope of anyone to answer very satisfactorily here. No doubt someone will give it a go & good luck to them.Try Google to search for the websites, it seems to get there fairly well. Cheers, Steve.
buy some kit car mags. one of them had a special edition on sevens and you can buy it on back order.
then you will see the difference.
basically caterham and westfield are high priced
most others are intermediate
and a locost is a home build supposedly cheaper route.
mk and robin hood, for example, are decent priced kits, others tend to range from costly to ballistic

is there any difference in the way either of them handle? or lighter or the way the end build look`s eg wider or longer has any one look into to this minor detail?
Yes, there are differences, almost all have distinctive feature - Dax's are large and wide, and habitually have v8s in them, Sylva/Raw's
have a distinctive bonnet, as do tigers, the list goes on, the best thing if you're not sure what sort you want is to go to a kit car show, look
at cars and talk to owners.

BARE with me? what kind of a club have i gotten into?
Once you do know, it's like asking what the difference between an Astra, Fiesta, Clio, 306 etc is.
They all look different. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. Something that appeals to one person will put the next right off it. You get
different things for your money, and so on.
As for handling, that is a difficult one, as the builder has a lot more influence on any particular car. Engines, shockers, springs, tyres setup etc
will alter significantly between the same model, so comparisons are difficult.
