That's what I weighed mine in.
It includes the suspension pickup points, seat brackets and a massive cage.
I still have to grind the welds off and add a few more things, no more than 10-15 lbs.
The cage alone weighs about 115 or so, making the rest of the frame 134.

I like the step ladder effect!
every American garage I see only makes me more jealous. nice work
Looks superb
That's a hell of a cage and very impressive side impact protection. Are you building for a particular race series?
Thanks gents.
I'm building for a race series, NASA (as in National Auto Sport Association, not the aerospace guys) super touring 2.
Most of the other racecars are much bigger and so I built a much beefier cage than you'd normally see.
Corvettes, Ferraris, Evos and such...
I really wanted to know how it compares with the weight of a normal frame, if anyone has numbers to share .

Where in LA are you? my sister lives over there, there are some nice twisties just off PCH going over the hills, not to mention the lush weather
Yep, I live in the valley, many of the roads to Malibu start here.
I swear, if only americans were into rally and less into the roundy-rounds, we could have had a fantastic tarmac rally here with these roads, the area
practically looks like it's ready for some WRC action.

Does anyone have some weight of a caged frame to compare?
