When putting a bike engine into a car chassis, is it best to use the existing engine cradle from to bike, or to fabricate your own?
Just really interested to see what people have done, and any photos would be great (or links too).
This is for a ZZR1100 into a chassis that i'm designing myself!!
My zx10r fabricated by mac1motorsports, uses a bespoke cradle to fit the engine mounting points and holds it a the correct angle. The is also a lower
engine mount fixed to the bottom chassis rail.

Fabricate your own.
this is how i made roadrunners cradle

Many thanks.
Does the cradle attach directly to the chassis, with no bushes?
Mine's less of a cradle and more part of the chassis.

Here are a few views of our one-off all ally creation. Uses metalastik type bushes where it meets the chassis. Took ages to fabricate but the end
result is kinda worth it.

SPYDER - did you fab your pedal box as well - if so very nice...
I am going to bolt/connect it directly to the chassis, as it is chain driven...
