Tank Drawing Anyone
VinceGledhill - 16/3/04 at 10:00 AM

Hello People. Has anyone out there got a tank drawing they could attach. My scanner has given up the ghost and I've not got access to a decent photo copier. I've got a friend who will make the fuel tank for me but need to give him the drawing.

I don't want him messing up my book in his very grimy workshop.

Much more basic drawing, but I have full length supports for my rollbar so the full sized tank was not going to fit. I designed this one a little taller, to regain the lost capacity (it is also a little wider, and overhangs tube Y by 25mm).

It has a capacity of 4.24Dm3 for every 100mm of length, so mine at 680mm has 6.35 gallons. Rescued attachment Tank.JPG

Brilliant guys thanks for that.

Can you believe it. I went to a customers the other day.... and was talking to him about my car.

He said, "do you need a fuel tank for that"? I said "yeah that's the next bit I'm doing" He said.... there's one over there in the corner... you can have it if you want it.... Wow. What luck....

Got it home.... too b*eedin big wasn't it. Oh well just my luck.

If anyone wants a tank drawing, then email me offlist at darren@gtstuning.co.uk and i'll send a pdf of a cad drawing that i did to have our tanks made from. I send them out so that people can check they'll fit in their car.

Kind regards,

Darren
