Floor Mounted Pedals?

If you use floor mounted pedals can you still use a clutch cable and accelerator cable?

Thanks,

Mark.

The floor mounts I made have an accelerator cable, can't see any reason why clutch couldn't be cable too

yep, i do

If they can be cable operated, can anyone recommend me a decent set? (space is at a premium).

Thanks again,

Mark.

If you're really really lucky, you might find that OBP have a sale on!

Hi

Although check out the pedal ratios. No good having a clutch where the pedal moves 100mm only for the clutch arm to only move 6mm. About as useful as trying to fit a DFS armchair into the chassis as a bucket seat.

Cheers Matt

i bought the pedal blanks from ebay

and welded them up and made the rest as per the roadster book minus about 10mm in the width..

car is not on the road yet but have driven it round private estate with no problems..

Space is extremely tight in my footwell because of my LT77 gearbox. My brake pedal is floor mounted, but the clutch and accelerator are top mounted. It works well, and I can tuck my left foot under the clutch pedal when I'm cruising along.

Just make sure the cable is not tight ie able to swivel on the pin,at eh pedal end if not it will snap. Been there done it
