I would like to know, are the wider wishbones at the front of the Indy just to make the front the same width as the back, or does it give some handling improvements?

Going wide makes it a real cow to fit on a trailer designed for something narrow i can tell you....lights!!! oh do we need them officer?.......arse!

Guess you didn't bother with the trailer board for the return leg then!

Adam,

I believe the wider front track is designed to match the wider rear track of the Sierra based Indy. This removes the need to shorten the Sierra driveshafts, which would be a specialist job and a pain in the a*se. However MK do have to modify the Sierra steering rack to compensate by narrowing the rack and extending the tie rods.
