Painted chassis piccy
locoboy - 13/4/04 at 02:18 PM

My chassis was bought more as limping as opposed to rolling! It has now been stripped and de rusted with the "tool" then had 3 coats of yacht primer and now one full coat of Re jenolite in an appropriately namad colour - Le mans Blue. - its taken
me a few solid days work especially the "tooling"

- next time round i would budget for blasting and powder coating.

I still think it looks good though

nice one Col... so judging by that it wasn't worth the effort. Looks great to me!

Hellfire, it was worth the effort but its a once in a life time job, just so when im old and grey i can say, ohhh sonny i did all mine by hand! i wouldnt mention the next time (if there is a next time) i did one i had it blasted and powder coated! - once is enough though.
