Cost so far...zilch....unused cheapo shelves from B&Q, Picket Fence Offcuts and unused shelf from the airing cupboard...
Just needs staining and sealing...also not sure about not having a curve on the front of the skids....

How bout two bits of bent ali to give your runner fronts a curve
looks good! The proof will be in the test run!! make sure you video it!!!
Does look good.
I have been thinking about joining the bonnet and nose cone together off the car, turn them apside down and at a pinch you have a 2 man taboggin

That's brilliant Steve!
Mango is right though, you will need the 'curve' at the front, or it will just 'dig in'......
Don't forget the 'action' piccies!
Fozzie
From playing around today I'd say you definitely need a bit of a curve on the front, I used a bit of bent ali on mine and some strips of UPVC on
another, goes like a rocket over compacted snow but was a bit poop on loose snow.
I think I'd at least cover the ski's with something??

Thinking about it - If Dickie B's about, he's got my mould of a Fury Big Bulge (just the bulge) - I'm sure a part taken from that would make a good toboggan...
Nail a couple of numberplates on and bend them up, should give you a curve.

Works fine on compacted stuff but, as assumed, digs in when it hits the softer stuff...
