Hi all , question as title.
Has anyone done this before or have any reasons why it is a good/bad idea?
Space is a challenge and I would like to reduce the number of holes I am drilling in the chassis.
I plan to make a bracket that mounts to the bottom hole of the diff support that is not being used in the fury chassis.
It is an electric Webcon pump.
All suggestions greatly received.

Most fuel pumps have shock absorbing rubber mounts, and as the diff takes lots of acceleration, deceleration and gear shift jolts, unless the fuel pump is well issolated from the vibration it could well be an issue.
I have done as you said and made a bracket that mounts on to the top of the dif where there is threaded hole.
I thought like you that seems agood place.
Of course still got the little beauty on rubber mounts.

Is this a live axle or IRS diff? A bad idea if it's live axle, but perfectly okay on an IRS unit, as long as you add a ground (earth) wire.

should work ok - my rush had a fuel pump in both engines on the diff mount holes at the rear - i used a bit of angle to mount the pump on - of course
i used rubber bushes to go between to isolate vibrations you have to mount the pump as low as you can below the level of the tank so it helps feed the
pump better.
does work fine tho - just dont go too low!
