Now here's an idea for the taller driver or to get seat belt points at the right height

Perfect for twatting on speed bumps and getting stuck on molehills!

true but more for getting the drivers weight lower in the car for better handling really I would have thought

Seen similar floorpans in MG Midgets (though under the current interpretation of the rules they would probably require an IVA these days if you used them)

any quick mods for the tall drivers which have tall feet and not tall spine?

I actually thought about fitting something like that but didn't fancy the lowest thing on the car being my seat....

Sounds like a recipe for a speed bump enema

If you've got large feet/long legs a smaller pan of the same design under the pedals should work nicely.

I had to do that floor pan mod to my car - I needed every inch of headroom I could get. The lowest thing on the car is indeed my ar$e ..... which tends to make you regard speed bumps with a special respect

Very common in beetle based kit cars, particularly the nova (sterling?) that seemed to have been designed for someone sub 5 feet....

So that's why they call you a "low down bum" Mike.

Cheers
