You know what, I tried joining some landrover forums to ask technical questions and I either get no reply or just some twaddle in response!

So, here goes... Anyone got a coil sprung RR/Disco/90/110 or whatever chassis close by?

All I need to know is the diameter and length of the hole where the front radius arm bush goes through the radius arm mounting bracket on the chassis.

Don't fancy paying £40 a side for brackets so fancy knocking a couple up locost fashion like.

I asked this over the other side and got zilch back apart from some good advice about staying with leafs. Aint got either atm so there's no going back.

I'm at work Mike Been working on Bumper recently, oh, and working 7 days a week! 2 jobs...

The chassis is getting to the stage (heavy) where its a pita to move about, so, I'm building an overhead crane to help me out I'll just have to watch me nut when I'm pottering about underneath it!

Next step is attaching the axles, but I need the dims to knock the mounting point up on the lathe. Should have the back axle under and fixed soon. Still waiting for the plasma cutter I bought of eblag 8 days ago tho....

Exam season is upon us again so I'm busy writing the inevitable end of term reports, we were over to the Half Moon on Sunday living it up while you were out delivering the Yorkies and keeping the economy going
Need to change Ninja clutch thrust bearing as it is squealing like jiggery at the moment, a bit unsociable on our night time runs

Can't help with Landie measurments I'm afraid!

In the absence of a bare chassis I've just dismantled my 90

I'ts near as dammit 38mm id to take a 39-40mm bush and is 25mm long.

Centre is about 46mm from chassis face and bottom

Cheers Nige, is the bush a sliding or twisty fit?

It's in two halves, top hat shaped that do indeed need a twisty to get them in.

Okey dokey, I'll make them tight then!
