Hi ya
Does any one know the requirement of roll bars for I.V.A. (well that is if there is any).
Apart from the obvious safety reasons does it need to have one at all?

No not for iva but can you get the Harness mounts high enough with out ?

Yes i beleive i can, i am going to mount them in the same place as yours. I will remeasure before welding them in.

as far as the roll bar goes, i am planning on having hoops aposed to a bar as was curious as to wheather i needed a diagnal section running down from them for i.v.a. but could not see any thing in the manual relating to roll bars.

When I did mine I worked out I had a max seat hight of around 50mm That was before iva and head rests came into force.

Provided that your seatbelt mounts are not attached to the roll bar, then they do not look for additional bracing I.e back stay.

For the IVA your roll bar could be made from cheese.. They don't check it!
