coil over bush removal

Afternoon chaps

As title really - any suggestions for removing rubber bushes and crush tubes from a shock? In there really tight!

I have only ever worked on bike ones, but they were all bonded in, so maybe some heat required?

perhaps not direct application, but stood in boiling water maybe??

Drill lots of holes through the rubber. Once the steel tube is out you can get a wet soapy knife in there and scrape away anything that is left.
