Well, I used my noggin this afternoon and searched the forum for suppliers of Sierra handbrake cable ends to suit my rear disc setup - I need to
shorten it and get it to work finally.
First on the list was Speedy Cables, who I'm sorry to say weren't much help. Didn't really seem keen to help for a low-value order,
and pretty much fobbed me off with an excuse that there were "too many choices of eyelet" and they wouldn't sell me random ones.
Lovely.
So I tried number two on the list, the website rdb93.co.uk, who were more than happy to assist with the situation! Lovely friendly people who knew
exactly what I was after and got the order made, paid for and done in under 10mins. Proper service, and friendly at every step; something rarely
found these days!
Only down side was that there's a minimum spend of £10 plus another £3 P&P, so I asked him to fill the jiffy bag up with as many ends as a
tenner would stretch to! So upon arrival, if anyone does need a handbrake end to suit rear discs, let me know and I'm sure I can pop one in the
post to you....
My 2p's worth thrown in, but happy to recommend them to anyone who needs cabley bits....

rdb93.co.uk, for anyone looking for it (not rbd )
ooh i'd like some please!
will need to get some cables made up by them at some point, but would like to be sure the ends fit and work ok first

Truth be told, I'm not sure if the ends will be held on with a grub screw, or soldered/crimped. Luckily enough I've got a specific crimper
for brake ends, but we'll see when they turn up.
I'll be sure to update the thread when they hit my doorstep and are fitted!
their cables seem to show threaded ends, so perhaps they ar ethreaded to screw on?
I'll be needing to fit Sierra handbrake cable to my rear disc set-up soon, if you are selling a couple of ends I would be more than happy to buy
a couple.
Also could you tell me what cables you have bought to match them to? And where you got them from?
