can anybody who has a striker,tell me if they are fitted with a chassis(vin) plate and if the chassis is also stamped and where??

and how many digits: ie 17

Hi Ross,
Mine has a stamped chassis plate riveted to the bulkhead as well as a 17 digit/letter combination stamped on the upper driver side chassis rail under the nosecone



I was told it may have something to do with the vehicle registration office (VRO)???

Mine has got the chassis plate. did not know about the stamped one. I think have some foam stuck on my chassis there so can't see it!!

my striker that i got part built came with a plate which is currently not attached....
It had a few numbers, date of manufacture, chassis no, can't remember what else.
The chassis number doesn't look long enough for the IVA man to be happy with tho....
i'll get a photo of it for you when i get a second!
