Folks,
I've trying to find the increase across the front of a Caterham SV chassis over a standard one.
I wish to try the Anti-rollbar on my car, I've been lent a standard bar and it's about 2-3" too narrow.
I've discovered that the cockpit space in the SV chassis is approx 4.2" from Wiki.
If this fits, then the whole front set up should cost less than £100 from Caterham.
Cheers Dan.
Sorry Dan don't know the answer (I used a rear ARB from Caterham).
If I were you I'd ring Caterham and ask them how long their front ARB is.
They might well take the view that a sale is a sale.
SV has 80mm of additional cockpit length and110 mm of cockpit width. Total. chassis width is 43.3" wide.
The chassis was sectioned longitudinally and 110mm inserted .
Front suspension parts are dimensionally unchanged from ALL other non widetrack Caterhams. Only the frame was 'widened' to increase the
track.
