Morning all, at the point now where I need to set the camber, toe in, ride height etc, and wondered if anyone out there had a set of good known values
to use as a starting point. Sierra based haynes roadster with Zetec engine if it helps.
Cheers
Adrian
Hi, pretty sure that the Haynes has five inch clearance chassis to road surface, and possably 5.5" at the rear. Toe in will be around 2mm. Camber is pretty much dictated by how the car handles, I have mine set to just half a degree, but this was after some trial and error, (plus it's definatly NOT a Haynes) Hope that gives you somewhere to start. Regards Ray
1deg neg camber front and back. 0.5degree toe in at front. Back needs to be 15mm higher than front so do front first then rear height
Forgot to say for iva set the toe to 0deg as it will self center better.
Cheers Ash. Did you manage to set toe at home, or get it done elsewhere?
