Hi guys, just a quick question for you all, what do you recommend for setting up a rolling chassis, ie castor, camber etc? complete alighnment from scratch basically, which companys do it etc all help and ideas appreciated.

Establish a centre line from the lower chassis wishbone mounts. Then refernce everything from this centre line. You can construct a rectangle around the car. Then it is easy to measure toe and if wheels different distances from the centre line.

I do not have specifics for a Locost but these would be my general settings:

Toe: Front & rear 1mm toe in. In otherwords the front of the wheel rim is 1mm closer to the centre line than the rear of the wheel rim.

Camber: Front 1 to 1.5 -ve degrees. Rear 1 degree negative. You do not want your wheel to do positive under cornering so if you know the charecteristics of your suspension you should know how much roll you can tolerate before this happens. So it is a matter of adjusting ARB and camber.

Caster: More important to get the same side to side, but 4.5 to 5 degree.
