cloudy - 17/6/14 at 12:20 PM

Anyone know of a company (or processs) able to form 1D small radius bending (1.75" CLR) on 1.75" 2.5mm
thickness rollbar tube?

Thanks,
James

If you hunt about there are places that can do 0.5d bends so shouldn't be too hard to find

If you are making a rollbar to be compiant with MSA regulations the minimum permitted CBR is 3D.
Blue Book Section: K 1.4.3

It was for a non structural portion - but none of the above( even custom cages) have tooling (for the MSA rule reason I guess)

Will attack the problem a different way...

have you tried Protection and Performance ooop north, used to be Skipton. They've made a number of cages for me and make some properly odd stuff, 8wd paris Dakar trucks etc, they have very tried CNC bending machines, might be worth a call. Dan Evans is the MD iirc

There's a company in Liverpool called one-offs, they might be able to.

Could try these people http://tubeengineersltd.co.uk/ in Lincolnshire.

Just had my Silencer made by them but they do seem to make manifolds for all makes of kit plus tube bending for all sorts of other applications.
