As there are quite a few different 'versions' of Sikaflex, which one exactly is it that I need for bonding my alu floor to my chassis, and
then for attaching the fibreglass side panels too...?

Any polyurethane stuff will do.
I use Tiger seal,as it's available locally.

Might try this though,as we now have a screw fix locally and it's half the price of Tiger Seal
Sikaflex is good stuff, tis used in high risk building jobs, i.e. bonding stuff at height.
Might be a good idea to not totally seal the floor, wouldn't be the first time I've seen 2 inches of water in a footwell

Before drilling any drainage holes, I'd recommend waiting to see where the water collects and then drill a hole right in the middle of that puddle and fit a grommet.
I'd recommend Sikaflex 552. This is a bonding adhesive used in vehicles.
However, like others have said other brands of polyurethane adhesives will do the job, just make sure they are not badged as sealer.
Keith.
I've just done my floor with Tiger seal, whoa that stuff is strong! Was going to use the Sikaflex from Screwfix myself but just thought for the few quid difference why put it to chance, go with what's recommended and totally pleased I did. Bought Tiger Seal from an Amazon reseller for about 8 quid per tube delivered. Can't go wrong :-)
252 we use for bonding grills into ally panels.
We use tiger sealer a work for gluing panels on buses a right bast>>> to get off if the panel gets damaged in a accident

Hi Craig.
At some point in time I will do the holes thing, but what would be the grommet for?
Sorry for the thread hijack.
