Rust protection - inside chassis tubes

Who has done what? I drilled for all panels which will be rivetted a few months ago - and hope to get floor and internal panels bonded and rivetted in place before the end of summer.

If i'm going to squirt waxoyl or similar inside the chassis tubes it seems now is the time to do it.

Who has done it, how and using what?

Thats what ive done. Waxoyl squirted down every few rivet holes.

Is that straight from an aerosol can - and does it all come dribbling back out when you spray it?

Did the same when I built my MK Indy - every other hole. I figured it was best to put something in there rather than nothing.

Mine was from an aerosol can with a thin red pipe in the nozzle to get inside the holes. No noticeable issues with it dribbling out afterwards.

Dynax s50 comes in aerosol with a nice slim injection lance which you can run through the holes and get a 360 degree spay pattern to ensure full coating.

It is a bit thicker than cleat waxoyl too, so doesnt ooze out as readily.
