Advice please i have been given a setyof live axle drag links of a dax, which are 1" longer than the book design could i still use them? i can see they will move the axle back one inch but would this effect anything else. I assume theres enough room in rear arches? regards martin

and axle of course.

Why not simply move the brackets on the chassis forward by an inch to compensate?

A couple of years back there were builders on the Yahoo group who were using 1" inch longer arms with no other mods --- propshaft permitting.

The book trailing arms are 11" long, Back in the early days, MK seemed to think 11.5" was the way to go (that's what I have) 12" are also popular, if you move the arches back 1" the axle still sits in the middle (there should b enough room)
