Pedal Box Dilema
ChrisS - 10/3/05 at 10:25 PM

Having very little space left in the length of the cockpit, and also size 11 feet, im havig troubles figuring out what to do for pedals. I thought i might try and make a set but am not sure how to make it all work with the spring setup of the clutch and brake pedal. Is this required.

Any pictures or dimensions would be greatly received.

Cheers.

The brake and clutch systems will have their own springs inside their respective mechanisms. But if you're making your own it should be easy enough to fit extra springs. The biggest problem in creating your own pedal box is to get the geometry right for the clutch and brake pedals.....
I'm having that dilemma at the moment designing my own system on CAD.

It is essential to have a seperate return spring acting on directly the brake pedal

When makeing your own pedles you can make the pedles narrower, giving more space between them for bigger feet.
