This is for installing it into a ready built chassis, and using Stuart Taylor wishbones.
So far:
Get your driveshafts shortened by luego or ST, or any other reputable driveshaft specialist. Do not attempt this yourself unless you consider yourself a proffesional!
This time last year (that long ago!!) i went and took some measurements of an IRS Stuart Taylor, which was unfortunately crashed at its first trackday. We took all the vital measurements, ie distance between brackets etc..
TIP #1: If you decide to do the same, write the measurements down in an orderly manor, CLEARLY LABELLED, because when you come to look at them again in a years time, you will have forgotten which is which.
Then, cut all the lengths of tube to size,
TIP #2: Big Mistake!!! You will forget which ones are for what! Cut them as you need them!
Tack the top half of the box together, before re checking measurements, and then weld it up properly.
Then repeat on the bottom...

Next comes bracketry. Tack first, measure again, weld properly, as usual.
TIP #3: I found that the best way to do this was to get a length of threaded bar, put it through the holes on the brackets, and bolt them on, thus holding them in place at a set distance apart, and you wont get spatter all over the wishbones. Ill try and get a pick of this.
Next comes welding it in.... Tack first etc....
Theres the first part. I will make some drawings for those of you interested, but that is a simple guide, and should work on any IRS installation.
