Very nice looking welder too. i was told the best way to see if your welding is up to scratch, is to beat the hell out of it with a large hammer- if it breaks then turn her up

I was told the best way to see if your welds are strong enough is to beat them to hell with a flailing propshaft at 100mph. If they bend and crush but don't shear apart your laughing..... (or crying)

That depends on if you welded the propshaft yourself...

Hi there a good project to start with is a trolley for your welder and if that works out the Practice on some shelf brackets for the shop and get an auto darkening helmet it will make a real diference .
best wishes
Iain

I made a few cubes like this...

For practice and then hit them with a large hammer until I was happy that they were strong enough.
