I was searching for a drawing, like in the "book" but for Sierra, Escort parts are close to impossible to find in my contry.
Thanks,
David
David,
Try the files section on the Yahoo Locost group:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/locost/
(you'll need to sign in and setup a yahoo id to get into the files section from there).
I believe there may be some .dxf files with IRS (Sierra rear end) plans. You'll need a CAD program to read them- I think Turbocad can be downloaded
for free at: http://www.turbocad.com
Otherwise, there are loads of IRS photos around, try the photos section here on this site.
Also, the MK Indy on http://www.mkengineering.co.uk/
is fantastic if you want to buy an IRS chassis but the photos of the chassis on the MK site are pretty good too...
Other than that, find a kind mate who's already got one and measure up and copy his- although I'm sure no one around here would reverse engineer
someone else's work....

Hi I'm building a Locost with Sierra rear end.
Look up RORTY's for the sierra IRS plans. Will fit book based Locost

So that means that if I do a McSorley 7+4 form http://www.mcsorley.net/locost/drawings/McSorley7+4.pdf
and the back of chassis from Rorty's http://gtslocost.locostsites.co.uk/documents/pdf_files/RortyLocostIRSAssembly.pdf
of course the uprights and forks ... I can Use only Sierra parts .
There is the Tiger Avon which is supposed to be buildable from the book (Build a Tiger Avon)and that is Sierra based.
