I think a company called Playschool motorsport or something like that has one.
Although they seem to give little away as to how its done and i'm sure the price was ... don't ask!

That's a *wonderful* drivetrain that I'd like to put in something... anything.

There's a place in Texas that sells Seven clones with that drivetrain... can't remember their name.

I think its like Ultralight or something like that. They are kinda 7 inspired cars.

Here it is.

Eh... $40,000... that's why I'm here, because I can't afford something like that I have to build it myself.

Their site seems a little quiet, with the most current "news" being two years old - not a good sign.

I think the guy was sick for a while. They just had a big article in one of the Kit Car magazines. Their work looks top notch, though I've never heard of anyone owning one.

I live 45 minutes from the shop. I probably should have a look sometime.

I think that you're referring to the WCM Ultralite:

http://www.wcmultralite.com/

They post some serious #s - 0-60 in under 3.5 sec.

I think that they were for sale a while ago, so I don't know the health of the company, but they appear to make a very nice product.

I'm 99% certain they were trying to sell the company on Ebay like a year or 2 ago.

I think when the kit car cost more than the S2000 your gonna lose alot of sales. They are both open cars, both quick and sporty looking and one comes with a warrenty, which one am I gonna choose?

Now, if I could buy a open car that does 0-60 in 5 sec for under $10k CAN then I wouldnt build a Locost......
Ok, I would the 7 style captivates me!
