go to an autograss meeting and look at some class 4 and 5 minis, these are exactly that but with bigger engines. The class 7's are the same again but with two hayabusas etc in the back!

A bit like this really:

Have a look at Chris Allanson's mini conversions on Z-Cars mini

Take a look here:
http://www.zcars.org.uk/mini/mini_main.htm

Theres even an online very basic build manual:
http://www.zcars.org.uk/mini/install_main.htm

Nuts cars those ZCars! Just take a look at some of the performance figures!

Why not put it in the front? A few places have done it with XE and VTEC so it should be doable with a civic engine. Not cheap though.

a couple of reasons for not putting it in the front, number 1 is that you have to extend the front out for it to fit and it looks stupid, number 2 rwd is more fun and less seen

I agree with the Flac Monkey, Zcars do some awesome things with mid engined minis, also i 'm sure i read that they are developing a GRP bodyshell to make the whole thing even lighter. Bonkers!
