Hello, I will soon be making a collapsable front for my car. It will be ally skinned and foam filled, can anyone reccomend what foam to use. I was
planning on using some kind of expanding foam, but I guess it has to be quite tuff stuff. The kind of stuff in can bumpers.
PS: Don't worry, my chassis is currently being triangulated!
"car bumpers" not can bumpers!!!!
expanding foamy stuff used for filling holes when Mr Builder bloke knocked too many bricks out might do the trick.....damn messy though
Industrial Pour Foam is supplied in drums of Polyol Resin and Isocyanate. The chemicals are mixed and then poured into the cavity to be insulated. The
typical density is around 32 kg/m3 and it has a k value of 0.020 W/m2. K.

Excellent i'll go for the more sofisticated Polyol Resin I think! Just need to crawl the industrial estates for a supplier.
