Apologies for the dumb newb question but here goes anyway...
Im getting a chassis blasted this week that's 50% rust and 50% a waxy underseal (It was an abandoned project that has been stood around for a
long time) the Guy who's doing it has given me the option of having it "keyfossed" when done for not a lot of money. Im just wondering
whats the best thing to finish with on top when it comes back.
Quote from another website :
"This is a very thin phosphate etch primer which can be used under powder coat or as a finish. We use keyphos as a finish for the suspension and
skeletal frame work of formula one racing cars, where the difference between a good paint job or a bad one is measured in gramme's. Keyphos comes
clear or black"
Oops my terrible spelling lets me down again!!! Thanks
A guy who i work with is into WW2 tanks
he uses this because he doesn't want a painted finish.
apparently keeps the rust off for years.
Ray
So I could actually use this as the finish or would you think i should put something protective on top?
