....it weighed 45.5Kg. (without nose) Don't believe the 35lbs as claimed in book!Sorry, can't help you for a completed chassis weight.

I did a CAD model and worked out th weight that way.

Think the result was something like 85-110Kg, depending on the amount of steel or aluminium panelling you used.

My FEA gave a weight estimate as part of the output.

184 lbs / 84 kg with all welded in 16g panels.

The aluminium panels are not included in this total, it's for the welded steel structure only.

My "book" build with Aussie mods, a few extra diagonals in the engine, tranny and engine crossmember, plus a four-point roll bar (1.75 .093 ERW) with removeable Petty Bar, all mounts and brackets and 22ga sheet steel welded in at the rear quarters and bottom of the nose weighed 200lbs, according to my bathroom scale.

I have five bathroom scales to check for accuracy.
