Yes?
So whats the wooden panels then?
floor and side panels
The bottom ones need to go on the chassis either with triangle welded on or threaded tubes.
Wheres the wood? OOOps too slow.
wooden floor? Is it a locust?

hope it is the chassis was made by a kit car company and the called it a locost .i thought all the old locost had a marine plywood body tub ?covered with alloy body it that wright?
Locost is metal spaceframe, scratchbulit to ron champions plans, locust is wooden frame
significant difference there.

hi i have got the locust not the locost sorry my fault
Yes its a Locust and the outside bottom seat belt mounts are a problem as there is no chassis there. You had best phone up the SVA station to see
whether they would allow spreader steel plates under the floor. I somewhat doubt it. You may have to weld some steelwork back to the chassis
underneath, which could also be a problem if the tub is perminantly fixed.
I had one some years ago but got it through on an MOT 1 week before SVA's for that very reason.
Try the locust club site on

They are a friendly bunch and I am sure they will help.

thanks for all your help
