£25 to have it blasted and £25 for the powder coating

Thanks, it was raining and I couldn't be bothered to get the aluminum sheet out I usually photo black things on so I just shot them on the carpet and bounced the flash off the white ceiling to stop the glare. Tweaked the white balance and exposure a touch in Photoshop and sharpened a touch too. Does the trick

The powder finish is excellent, wish I'd welded using Argoshield though so there wasn't so much splatter.

Imagine how long it would have taken with and Angry Grinder and spray paint!
