I have just had the remains of a Sierra taken away. And now I have noticed on a picture on a build diary an oval housing for the lower steering column
bush assembly, Have I missed taking this off or is it something I will get in My Indy kit when I get it, Or do I have to make one.Shall I run after
the scrap bloke?
Steve.

Do you mean this bit:-
Steering Bush
It doesn't come with the kit, but you can buy them from Lolocost for about £4 IIRC.

Nice one Mike,
I will get one.You always think you have got all the bits and then it bites you on the arse.
Cheers.
Steve.
No bother
Good luck with the build.
Looking back through my album that was taken in Aug 04. Looks a bit different now!
P.S. Linky to Lolocost here

Mike, while you are here, what sort of sealant would you recomend for the first job which is riveting the floor on?
I used PU Adhesive, from MAC1 in Sheffield
Trade name is Wurth Bond and Seal. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Like VERY sticky silicone.
Listed as "Wurth body panel adhesive" for £6.99 on their website http://www.mac1motorsports.co.uk/parts_dept.htm
Mark and Colin will post tubes out for next day delivery.

P.S Hope you have an air riveter, a mate with strong hands or arms like popeye, because riveting the floor on was one of the most painful jobs. Used
a hand riveter bought from Aldi for £5 and suffered. Used 16mm long x 4mm dia, large head rivets every 60mm along the chassis rails.
Rivets 16 x 4mm every 60mm

Thats great, I have used Wurth stuff before and like you say its good stuff.
Ta.
My mate is building a Robin hood lightwieght and he has a little compressor and air rivit gun so I plan to mug him for it for a day or so.
Also I have ordered a rivnut kit off good old eBay.
