Hello to all!
I have recently decided to build a locost as per the McSorley 7+4 drawings. I decided on the 4" wider so I could fit my large body into it
(6' 250 lbs). The drawings seem to be easy to work with and fairly straight forward. I don't really have any questions right now, but I
thought I would introduce myself.
I'm currently taking a 1 year welder/fitter course at Conestoga College in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. I think I may have convinced my teacher to
use the chassis as a project for school. I think he just liked the fact that it is based on the Lotus 7, and he just happens to be a Brit.
Anyways, I look forward to getting started on this project as soon as possible. I also have a small background in engineering, so I plan on designing
the suspension and other parts myself. Just one thing, does anyone have any advice they want to give a greenhorn before I started?
Cheers
Jeremy
Advice...take a look around this site, all the popular questions have been answered before at some point or another.
The mcsorely plans are a good start.

PS Welcome to the nuthouse
While I don't live in Canada, I've heard it can be near impossible to get a home-build car through registration. Maybe I got the story
wrong but be sure to check before you build!
