Dose anyone or has anyone got any examples of an IRS design options of running gear I am doing some drawings at the moment, as I am still undecided to
build my own or buy a Kit

do a search on here for McSorley or Cymtric. I think that one of these two have chassis designs for a sierra based IRS.
As for build your own / buy a kit, there are differening opinions. A good chassis will cost you £500 or £600 and can be supplied powder coated. The
steel for a chassis will cost a tenth of this but will take weeks / months of your spare time to cut and weld.
Generally, kit built cars can be sold for good money when you have finished where as scratch built cars are for life. If yo enjoy welding though,
build your own.
the mcsorely isnt IRS if i recall

Also, Cymtrics gave comments on chassis design - i dont recall him coming up with specific build plans

one from rorty
quite a few of us are doing our own IRS (browse my website for details on mine!) and commercial 'locost' designs with IRS are around from
MK, luego and others.

mcsorley is not irs, the only one is rorty's but in my opinion although well made its a bit complicated. For my skill level that is. Im just going to use MNR uprights and wishbones find out where mounts etc should go relative to diff and hub then make a frame to put it all together with. Eventually...
Just found these plans (including some CAD):

No idea if it works though
Don't overlook Rorty's recent excellent IRS design posted here - I forget the thread, but a search should turn it up easily
The Tiger Avon is also IRS and there is the Build an Avon book, although I understand that the dims need to be well checked .
